The Information processing & Management is the most author-friendly journal I’ve interacted with, so far. The journal implements “Your Paper Your Way” policy, combined with no strict rules on & requirements for submission manuscript and reference formatting. Regarding the reference format, the only thing they ask: to keep it consistent.
Few issues I’ve faced, during the submission process:
- LibreOffice exported .DOCX file lost the cross-reference fields, fortunately, above mentioned “Your Paper Your Way” allows submission of PDF.
Field lost – in PDF the system creates for your approval
- TIFF CMYK 8 bit may fail to reproduce. The solution was to submit JPEG RGB.
